Notes

Phoebe and Eleni examine their attitudes about the food they eat. More of a garden salad kind of conversation, freshly picked and surprisingly nourishing.

  • After a week cleanse, Phoebe feels more spacious in her body, which helps her to reevaluate her relationship with food.
  • Eleni loves watching her toddler’s growing relationship with vegetables picked straight from the garden because it deepens her understanding of where food comes from.
  • Food passed down through old or new family traditions creates a sense of celebration. These meals seem to evoke our hunter and gather inclinations and memories.
  • Everything is made out of energy, including what we eat. One vegetable holds a different vibration than another vegetable.
  • Food offers us the opportunity to tune into and listen to our body. How, where and what we eat determines how nourished and balanced we feel.
  • If we eat something less nourishing with an attitude of gratitude and celebration, without guilt and shame, our digestion is better. How we experience food matters!
